About three years ago, just as I was launching my paper scrapbooking for hire business, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. My business was put on hold, my scrapbooking was put on hold, and my life became an adventure in coping. But I was blessed to discover digital scrapbooking which has been such a lifesaver. It is my therapy, my stress release, and now my profession! Yes, I’m back in business…I’m just not allowed to play with scissors and glue anymore! I started out using my extremely outdated version of Adobe Photoshop and was completely at a loss when faced with the prospect of upgrading to a new computer running Vista. But I remembered that my ACDSee Photo Editor let me view my layered templates so I figured I’d give Photo Editor a try. And to my delight and surprise, not only did it do everything I wanted and needed, it did it much faster and easier. The learning curve is so easy I’m using it in my digi-scrapping classes. And I must have broken all previous speed records in finishing my Christmas photo gifts by the first week of December last year! I’m a convert for life and I’m very excited to see what else I can create with ACDSee’s Photo Editor!
So what do I have to scrap about in the rest of my life? I am a 39 year old retired homeschooling stay at home mom. I’m very proud of my grown daughters and am preparing to adopt and train a boxer puppy named Saya who will eventually help me out as my disease is taking away my mobility and my eyesight. I’m also enjoying my 20-year marriage to my high-school sweetheart. We live in North Texas with our cats Critter and Kitty and our elderly dog Samantha.
