I built a 120 page book recently with inkubook.com for my Disney vacation and it worked great. My computer is over 2 years old and had no problems. I’m sure all the book companies constantly improve their applications and I noticed Dmitry commented in October of 2008. I built mine in August of 2009 and it is very fast. The slowest aspect of inkubook seems to be uploading images, but I have experienced slow photo uploads on all of the photo book sites. I would rate inkubook.com as one of the best and easiest to use. Plus I can share my book on Facebook which is very cool!

ordered mine – worked fine with 60 pages. I think it depends how much memory you have to be honest. We made a big collaborative book – I had 20 people work on it often several at a time from different PCs (all logged in under the one user name). We had some issues but nothing more than the odd irritation. The ability to collaborate like that was really great (and much better than their official collaboration tool which just allows other people to give you text and images)! I’ve also used Blurb very successfuly but since the Blurb tool resides on the PC you’re working on their is no ability to collaborate like this.

I just placed a order for a 120 page hardcover today for only $8. special promotion for new users. Yes it does crash and yes it did slow down a bit on the 120th page. pages 1-119 didnt slow and it mostly slowed down because of the amount of pictures i had uploaded. DO NOT USE Internet Explorer it takes years to upload and download… Firefox Loads 20x faster. So i agree it has glitches but it works… whoever said it doesnt work doesnt know what they are talking about. cant wait to recieve the book its for my girl

If you plan to create a small book like 20 pages or so, it is fine. They advertise that you can have as many as 120 pages in one book. Do not even try. After about 50 pages, program starts to slow down, freezes and crashes. Tech support tells you that there is nothing they can do about it. Started to blame my computer (which is a state-of-the-art one).

Conclusion: I would rate it 3 out of 5 and 0 out of 5 for big projects (it simply does NOT work).

Ordering windows worked ok for me; I use pc. Book should arrive soon.

I attempted to order an inkubook and gave up half way through.

The site is horrible on pc computers.
