Recovering from our Scrapbooking Retreat & upcoming news

Connie posted that her and I were together with friends and family for a scrapbooking retreat so our blog was pretty quiet all weekend. We all are home now and recovering.

I was very excited because I finished up my paper scrapbooking album projects and now can say I am doing ALL my scrapping completely digital! I was thrilled with that. Before I left for the retreat, I went to a brick & mortar scrapbook store to get a few elements (stickers, sayings, etc.) to finish the pages and just didn’t find it very fun. When the hobby isn’t fun anymore (especially the shopping part) it is time to end it. My back will also appreciate it too. Those paper supplies and tools get heavy!

My new list for packing for scrapbooking retreat will be my laptop, my mouse, my EHD, and LCD Monitor. Yes, I will bring my monitor with. I saved the box it came in and it 10 times lighter than any of my paper scrapping bags/boxes. I had all my stuff to digital scrapbook with but didn’t get to do much with it due to a medical emergency with one of our fellow scrapbookers (who is doing just fine now.)
