Search tip for ACDSee 9

August 21st, 2007 by Connie

This question was asked on our forum:

I already organized my kits with ACDSEE it works great. But sometimes if I am in a directory, I would like to click the previews in the organize pane and only showed what I have inside of the directory that I am instead of the whole database.
Is there any way to do that without creating a new category?

Here is my suggestion:

Under View | Search

Select the Category that you want to search for (in this case ‘preview’)

Select the file(s) that you want to see that contains items in that category (in my example, CatalogedFiles); click Ok

Click on Start

If you have another way, please post a comment.
