ACDSee caters to worldwide shopping
August 13th, 2007 by ConnieThe sale on ACDSee Photo Manager for $23.99 has resulted in some new questions. Long ago some of our Australian friends were asking about purchasing in their own currency. Today I had 3 of our friends from the UK enquiring. And I learned something new again! (Actually, I just hadn’t really pondered ACDSee’s new shopping cart). But it is very friendly for no matter where you live!
Did you know that you can purchase ACDSee using US dollars, Canadian dollars, Great Britain pounds, Australian dollars & Japanese yen? You simple use the pull down menu. (And Heidi, is saying… duh, Connie!).
And with the sale, we’ve been asked this many times… about the CD. You have the option to click on the garbage can to delete that if you wish.
Please let us know if you have questions. And enjoy the sale on ACDSee 9, the digiscrapper’s organizing product of choice!
*edited* When you receive your confirmation email, your license code is termed “Digital Rights” and it will be right under this section. Once you have that, go under Help & put it in. Please let us know if you have questions.

Aug 14, 2007 - 09:08:12I searched your archives a bit for this answer but didn’t fnd it, so here’s my question. Are there any problems transferring the program itself to another computer? I want to take advantage of this sale, but will be getting a new computer next month. Anything I should keep in mind? Do I need the extended download service? Should I wait until the new computer comes to start catagorizing? Thanks!
No, there shouldn’t be a problem. We have instructions to help with this.
You do not need the extended download service. After you download the trial and get the license key, save the license key in a text file and burn both to a CD. Now you have a backup of the software and license.
You can wait if you wish or you can start organizing. We get almost everyone’s database transferred successfully but yes there have been a few times that it was lost.
